TBD FCR 253, Fairfield
- Type: Lots and Land
- Style: Lot / Land
- Development Level: Built
- Lot Size: 15.35 acres
In 1994 the land was subsoiled and planted with improved loblolly pine seedlings being approximately 8 acres of the 15.350 acres. According to the Texas Forest Service the first thinning should be done approximately 13-16 years after planting and then additional thinning should be considered every 5-8 years thereafter. According to the owner the trees have not been thinned since they were planted. Therefore, a new owner may desire to thin and sell the pine trees as a possible source of income. There is an old iron ore gravel pit that may serve as a foundation for a future lake site. The land has road frontage on CR 253 and 255. The land has a rolling terrain. The land has a timber tax exemption.
Directions: From Fairfield travel E. on Hwy. 84 and from the city limit sign go 5 miles. Turn left on FM 1364. Go 1 mile and turn right on FCR 255. This is just past the Antioch Baptist Church .
